In the article it is developed and empirically tested (on data from Slovenian and Romanian companies) a model, which includes relationships between organizational inter-firm elements, technological innovativeness and business performance of companies. In the article it is found out, among other things, that strategic technological alliances impact technological innovativeness, which in turn influences the company growth, profitability and new wealth creation.

We achieved to prove that the higher extent of specific human capital, unified in the integral construct, positively impacts the degree of internationalization, innovativeness, growth and development of small and medium-sized companies.
