First measurements with phantom were performed with therapeutical radio-active source at the Institute of Oncology. The principal parameters of the acquired image were measured: such as frame read-out time, peak-searching algorithm. The precise alignment of the device was attempted as well as the first determination of the source position. These measurements proved suitability of silicon detectors for the application.

In well received oral contribution at one of the largest conferences in the field we presented the apparatus, measurements with therapeutic source in the phantom and their comparison with the simulations.

Measurements with therapeutic source were presented in the paper. We determined the absolute uncertanity of source position in the field of view and also the relative uncertainty before and after the source moved. The measurements have proven that position sensitive silicon detectors are appropriate for such applications.
We presented the design and construction of the apparatus, its properties and potential applications. The emphasis was give on advantages for the patient treatment, advantages over the similar devices being under construction in terms of costs, and ability for its assembly in Slovenia.
