Raspberry bushy dwarf virus (RBDV) naturally infects Rubus species. In 2003 it was found on grapevine, the only known non-Rubus host. In the paper the virus from grapevine was characterized biologically, serologically and genetically. Its persence was confirmed in the nematode Longidorus juvenilis. The grapevine isolates are clearly diverse from raspberry isolates.
