In May 2008, a member of the project team participated in the Unesco conference on Intangible cultural heritage in southeastern Europe and presented the activities and results of the applied project, the goal of which is to form a register of Intangible heritage in Slovenia. She also presented its starting points: the plan for cataloguing individual types of Intangible heritage, with special emphasis on the area of Mediterranean Slovenia.

COBISS.SI-ID: 1455059A member of the project team on the Archeological days in Piran (2009) presented the project Information Database of Natural and Cultural Heritage of the Slovene Mediterranean: The digitalization of information in the field of natural and cultural heritage enables standardized data capture in the fields of natural and human sciences and their interdisciplinary processing. The Heritage Information Catalogue provides documenting of natural and cultural heritage as well as easy access to information, digital documents and bibliographic/archivistic references and cartographic representations.

COBISS.SI-ID: 1740499A member of the project team presented the project of valorisation of the villa marittima in Simon’s Bay where are preserved the remains of a luxurious Roman seaside-villa with associated harbour and aqueduct.They were described the first time in the 16th C. and were repeatedly researched in the 20th C.Since 2006 in cooperation with the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia-regional office Piran,we have carried out new researches and some enhancement works.It represents and important and unique element of the non-movable cultural heritage of the Slovene Mediterranean.

COBISS.SI-ID: 1508819The author presented archaeological heritage of the Slovenian area and continued into the presentation of the newly established heritage studies at the University of Primorska. This is first program of its kind in Slovenia. It combines the complex understanding of heritage and interdisciplinary studies of archaeology, art history, ethnology and history. This enables the education of new generation of heritage specialists, with complex understanding of heritage and provides specialization on the higher levels. The Prague University is interested in cooperation for establishing similar studies.
B.04 Guest lecture
COBISS.SI-ID: 1724627A member of the project team co-organised the summer school of museology. Its aim was to implement the results of research work on the field of presentation and promotion of heritage. The subject of the meeting was museums and tourism – topic given by the international museum council-ICOM. Work organised in the form of workshops enabled the participants to research and learn how research results can be disseminated to the museum public.
