At this specialized conference on nuclear energy we reported results on investigation of interaction between hydrogen radicals and a part of a divertor tail obtained from one of the most sophisticated fusion reactors in the world – ASDEX Upgrade (Germany). Experiments with extremely reactive hydrogen plasma were performed at EU solar facilities MESOX, France. The interaction probabilities were calculated at extreme conditions. To the best of our knowledge, no such experiments have been performed elsewhere.

COBISS.SI-ID: 23243303Understanding potential formation in front of plasma boundaries in complex plasmas with more than two species of charged particles is important in fusion research. The potential drops determine the ion flux and the ion impact energy on the wall. In this work we study the dependence of the floating potential of the collector on various parameters in a plasma that contains two species of positive ions, while the electrons have a two-temperature velocity distribution. Special attention is focused on the dependence on the density ratio of ions as well as on the electron temperature ratios.
