14N NQR frequencies and spin-lattice relaxation times were measured in 5-AT and 5-ATM between 77K and 300K. Assignment of the frequencies to atomic positions was made and the results are analysed in relation to the molecular chemical bonds and possible H-bonds. .

Cladribine was studed experimantaly by 35Cl NQR and 14 N NMR-NQR double resonance and theoratically by the DFT. The effects of tautomeris, regioisomerism, conformations and molecular aggregations were found and related to intermolecular H-bond formation and the quadrupole parameters.
