The journal published by the Institute of Biology publishes articles dealing with taxonomic, floristic, faunistic, phytosociological, biocoenological and palynological research. Despite the relatively short time since the beginning of publication, the journal has become widely recognized in international scientific discussions. Regularly maintained website allows researchers access to articles. This is made possible also with webhosting of the journal on Versita publishing house's website, where the articles can be linked to other databases through DOI codes, thus enabling on-line publishing.

COBISS.SI-ID: 242985984In the frame of international project financied by Galičica national park, the forest vegetation of the region was elaborated. Numerous new vegetation types have been established and classified in a wider European framework. We prepared also a vegetation map of forest communities based on remote sensing. The work is one of the first of this kind in the region and is in publishing procedure.
