In cooperation with the Hmezad Export-Import dd, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Ljubljana, Slovenian Institute for hop research and brewing and the Institute of Environment and Spatial planning Celje, preparation of technological process for separation of individual components from hop extract has been performed.

The aim of the work was determination of process parameters in a laboratory scale for the separation of components in hops extract by SFC. By differing different parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, quantity of co solvent, the concentration of hops ...), the size and shape of peaks on the chromatogram was monitored. The results of this work are important for transfering experiment from the laboratory scale into industry scale.
