The assessment of personality in children is problematic from diffrent aspects. In the study, three types of assessment consistency have been tested in relation to mothers, fathers and preschool teachers as the raters of personality dimensions. The results have been obtained and compared through three sequential measurements and revealed an acceptable stability or consistency of the personality assessment.
Author's summary: "Wisdom has been only very recently put under psychological research scrutiny. The present study investigates the relationship between basic personality dimensions and generativity as a measure of wisdom. The results revealed a rather stable structure of personality - generativity relations. Personality traits explain about 36 percent of the variance in the generativity. Social potency, agreeableness, openness, well-being and achievement are the best special predictors of generativity.
