COBISS.SI-ID: 496885In 2008 we established a long-term population monitoring of Martino’s vole on Mt. Bjelašnica (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Funds were provided by ASO, and partners were Naturhistorisches Museum Wien and University of Sarajevo. We executed two field surveys based on Capture-Recapture technique. Strong emphasis was on training young researchers in field and laboratory techniques. An international workshop was organized in November 2008 at UP ZRS which introduced zoologists into molecular techniques.
