This report represents the development of mathematical model for heat and energy integration of biogas processes and service facilities. The superstructural approach is applied for optimal selection of processes, and composition of input substrates. The model is formulated as a mixed-integer nonlinear problem (MINLP) for economic evaluation of optimal heat integrated process. The optimal process scheme includes the anaerobic fermentation under thermophilic conditions, poultry farm wastes, fresh water in closed water system with waste water regeneration, and production of organic fertilizer.
F.23 Development of new system-wide, normative and programme solutions, and methods
COBISS.SI-ID: 14031126This report presents the application of the mathematical modelling and optimization within the programme tool MIPSYN. That was performed for different raw material and technological alternatives of bioethanol production via the biological and thermochemical approach. Synthesis problems contain 2000 to 14000 constraints. Profitability of production is maximized including depreciation and other expenses. Heat integration is also performed.
