In his PhD thesis the candidate was using the magnetic resonance diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) and dynamic contrast enhanced imaging (DCEI) to monitor a progress of healing of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture after surgery. He found that magnetic resonance imaging can be a suitable method for monitoring of ACL rupture healing.

COBISS.SI-ID: 261559808Transfer of scientific results and approaches into education process requires new and well defined didactical tools. Our research was therefore focused on so called ability of abstract thinking and the building representations of the structure and dynamics of the microscopic and macroscopic systems thar is used for the development of new teaching materials.

COBISS.SI-ID: 2489188In an invited lecture extensive study of gelatine scaffold has been presented for artificial cartilage tissue. It was stressed that many studies do not take into account the molecular mobility which on the other hand significantly alter biocompatibility of the scaffold. Based on these results we develop an interesting medical material and test it for the purpose of tissue regeneration.
