Correlations between in vitro potency of polyethylene glycol-protein conjugates and their chromatographic behaviour

Article describes correlation between chromatographic behavoiur of series of well defined N-terminally pegylated IFN-alpha conjugates and their "in vitro" activity. We showed that lenght and shape of PEG reagent attached to the protein influence on retention times at CE-HPLC and based on CE-HPLC analysis it is possible to predict je "in vitro" biological activity of conjugates, which was not published before.

Influence of repeated blood sampling on hematological parameters in rats

Article describes effect of replacement fluids saline, gelofusine, and blood on biochemical and hematological parameters in rats subjected to repeated blood sampling.

Comparison of 3 cytotoxicity screening assays and their application to the selection of novel antibacterial hits.

We performed comparison of 3 cytotoxicity screening assays and applied them for the selection of novel antibacterial hits

A flow cytometric method for determination of the blood neutrophil fraction in rats

A flow cytometric method for determination of the blood neutrophil fraction in rats was established enabling monitoring of this blood parameter after drug administration for anticancer therapy

New high-throughput fluorimetric assay for discovering inhibitors of UDP-N-acetylmuramyl-l-alanine: d-Glutamate (MurD) ligase.

New high-throughput fluorimetric assay for discovering inhibitors of UDP-N-acetylmuramyl-l-alanine: d-Glutamate (MurD) ligase was established enabling faster screening of large number of samples for faster selection of candidate molecule.
