Described is an attempt of recycling of stainless steel shavings. The test results are the metal ingots with high contents of nickel and chromium, suitable as input material for stainless steel production.

The properties of non-oriented electrical steel properties in future can be improved by reducing the levels of impurities in the steel, the optimization of hot and cold rolling process and the development of favorable crystallographic texture. Good electrical properties of non-oriented electrical steel sheets can enhance the efficiency of electrical equipment in which they are embedded.
