The application of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy – XPS was presented for characterization of plasma treated surfaces and thin organic films. The XPS method provides data on the elemental composition, chemical bonding and depth distribution of elements at surfaces, thin films and multilayered structures.

COBISS.SI-ID: 22986279The 10th fair Forma Tool took place in Celje, Slovenia. Over 600 exhibitors from 30 countries participated in the fair. Our research group presented the blue nanolayer coatings as the key product. Our team was awarded the golden prize: our supernitride blue coatings were awarded as the best support activity in tool manufacturing in the previous two years. It has to be emphasized that tool manufacturing is a highly developed and competitive industry in Slovenia, distinguished by high added value per employee, predominantly export-driven and high R&D investment.
