The award was granted based on the research work done in the »Centre of sensor technology«, where Prof. Lobnik is the head. The Centre is active in the field of environmental protection, wastewater treatment, waste management and development of new methods in determination of environmental and process parameters (environmental metrology).In the last 5 years Prof. Lobnik was also the author of several other patents: 1. Lecture at Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia related to the scientific and research work as well as obtained results within the project. Different approaches regarding textile wastewater treatment for reuse purposes were discussed and different technological solutions were proposed.

A total of 78 participants attended the meeting organized by University of Maribor in the Hotel Habakuk, Maribor, Slovenia. The meeting was organised in three days with 26 lectures and 9 posters presentations. There were also 7 training sessions from Visiting Scientists and Invited Speakers. Abstracts of the oral and poster presentations are published in the book of abstract.
