For the company SIP Šempeter a survey has been conducted which resulted in an innovative concept of the carrier mechanism for the front disc mower. The new carrier mechanism allows good visibility by mowing and transport due to its simple and compact design, the essential advantage however is the longitudinal and transverse adjustment when mowing terrain with large declines. In the event of a collision, the carrier mechanism prevents the damage to the cutterbar with rapid clearance.

COBISS.SI-ID: 13343771A gearbox has been designed based on the project requirements for "Foodprocesor". They included kinematic conditions, the dimensions of the installation space and the maximum output torque. First, a review of possible gear concepts has been performed with each concept also analysed and evaluated. The most favorable option has then been selected. Next, the dimensions of the gears have been determined based on the given kinematic conditions. The load bearing of individual gears has been calculated for a variety of materials. Plastic and steel gears have been evaluated on the recommendation of VDI2736 and ISO 6336 standard, respectively. Finally, the optimal combination of materials for the gear sets has been chosen. 3D models of selected gears have been created.

COBISS.SI-ID: 13674011The doctoral thesis presents the methodology for the development of load-bearing components made from hybrid metal-nonmetal materials. With a properly designed metal insert, a superior bond between the metal and the polymer can be achieved by the use of standard processing technology. This results in higher stiffness, strength and safety of the load bearing components. The thesis presents the procedure for designing the geometrical joints and the methodology for experimental and numerical evaluation of these joints. The presented methodology was validated on specifically designed geometrical joints between a sheet metal insert (S420MC) and the PA6-GF60 polyamide. For the hybrid joints, static tensile and experimental durability experiments were performed as well as numerical simulations of the load-carrying capacity of these joints and bending beams. The most appropriate shape of the hybrid joint was chosen for integration in the hybrid bending beams.

COBISS.SI-ID: 13350427For a company Hella Saturnus Slovenija d.o.o. (HSS) a universal automatised test stand that enables performing of adhesive tape adherence test for headlamp lenses according to ECE regulations was developed and built. With the test stand it is possible to perform adhesive tape qualifications as well as adherence tests in a range from the smallest (fog lamps) to the largest headlamps (main headlamps of combined vehicles). The test stand was installed at the optometric laboratory of the HSS company.
