COBISS.SI-ID: 13198102In 2007, the international project IWT Development of reliable fatigue life prediction processes for light weight exhaust systems was accepted. In the project the programme group has a highly important position, being responsible for the development of nearly all methodology and the transfer of the development technologies into practice. The project is an improvement of the programme group's past work in the field of the development of thermo-mechanically loaded parts, thus connecting the international consort of the companies.

COBISS.SI-ID: 10994459In 2003 a very successful cooperation with the Veyance Technologies concern started in the field of the software development for belt drives. The software developed in our group GY MaxPro is already used worldwide. The fifth version of the programme MaximizerPro can be found on http://www.goodyearep.com/maxpro/.

COBISS.SI-ID: 11210523Non-unified model for determining thermo mechanical damage is introduced. The model separately treats temperature dependent elastoplastic strain and temperature dependent viscoplastic strain. A damage model that considers a temperature dependent viscoplastic deformation is presented. Mostly used methods for determination of the time to rupture have been evaluated. Master curves, determined only on a small set of test data, are compared with the remaining set. Goodness of master curves’ fit is evaluated with the R2 value. The damage model is based on the Robinson’s temperature dependent rule.
