The subject of this invention is a suspension of precipitated calcium carbonate (OKK) obtained by the conventional process of carbonation of the lime Ca(OH)2 suspension, with pH range from 8.5 to 9.5 and the fraction of solids in suspension from 12 to 65%, stabilized with a minimum amount of commercially available dispersant, so that it shows high stability against aglomeration of primary particles into larger aggregates up to 4 weeks; OKK particles that make up the product, have distribution of the particles D50 up to 3 micrometers and a specific surface properties are expressed through the measured high value of negative zeta potential in the range from -20 to -40 mV. Product shows high levels of retention from 90 to 95% due to specific surface charateristics when used as a filler in paper making.

This method is based on a cyclic exchange of two phases: phase of intensive and phase of minimal suction of gas. Invented method for cyclic vacuuming of solid reaction mixture in a batch reactor is simple, provides a high coefficient of heat transfer from the system of external heating to the solid reaction mixture, that is embedded inside the reactor but also provides vacuum conditions for reaction and thus allows shorter times of batch processes.

A solid reaction mixture is placed into the batch reactor and heated with oil that was preheated in the preheating phase to the temperature close to the boiling point. Prehaeted oil is fed to the batch reactor and solid reaction mixture is surrounded by oil. Invented method for rapid heating of a solid reaction mixture is simple, has a sufficiently high heat transfer coefficient in liquid phase, enables shortening of process time in batch reactor and a medium needed for heating of process is from the products of the same process.
