COBISS.SI-ID: 251879424In the thessis the dynamics of stomatal closure in response to sudden increase of CO2 was studied in different plants. The rate of stomatal closere did not differ for mofette grown plants and plants of the same species growing at normal CO2 concentration. Water deprivation and/or water vapur pressure deficit enhanced stomatal response. Stomatal closure was faster in C4 plants than in C3 plants and faster in grasses than in herbs.
