C.06 Editorial board membership
The members of the program group successfully communicate their knowledge to the national and international scientific and professional community. Between 2009 and 2014 we had a number of professional and scientific invited lectures at national and international meetings in Slovenia and abroad. More than sixty invited lectures (44 scientific and 20 professional) were held abroad, mostly in European countries and Asia, and because of our close research and professional associations, especially in the Western Balkans. In addition, we have been invited to numerous national and international meetings in Slovenia, where we gave 30 scientific and 33 professional lectures. Furthermore, the members participate, with the invited lectures, in the educational programs and projects of the European commission (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange – TAIEX; Better Training for Safer Food – BTSF) and foreign universities.
B.04 Guest lecture
From 2009 to 2014 the members of the program group published nine university textbooks, 49 registered and several unregistered teaching materials, which are available on the VF website. We participated in the making of a documentary movie (“Following the wolves”) and in numerous radio and television shows on animal health and food safety. Among other things, we prepared three expert opinions and were authors and co-authors of numerous professional and one scientific monographs. The results of our research work were promoted with presentations at national events (professional meeting Drobnica 2013, professional meetings of the Veterinary chamber) and international educational programs (Taiex).
