COBISS.SI-ID: 255198464On this occasion 7 outliers about Slovenian forest monitoring activities were printed and presented, the presentation of the double thematic issue of Slovenian professional journal for forestry (GV), thematic issue, Volume 69, Number 5-6 / Vol. 69 with editorial and introduction and 8 scientific thematic articles about forest monitoring; Slovenian Forest monitoring activities were presented to the listeners of the Radio Slovenia, Channel I (in the central news program) and the contributions in daily journal Delo (Panorama) and journals annex of Gorenjski glas. At the final workshop of the FutMon Life+ project (2009-2011), project results were presented about forest degradation and damage monitoring, particularly regarding development of selected new methods. The Forest status Report in Slovenia for the year 2010 is a regular activity since 1986 (16 x 16km grid); when Slovenia become an EU member (2004), these activities were intensified with inclusion of intensive forest monitoring surveys. A major focus of the workshop was promotion of forest monitoring with presentation of different contributions on forest monitoring, information for public; and also a shorter workshop about use of forest monitoring data, with all positive and negative aspects was carried out.
