The paper proves causes for low quality development planning of settlements with heritage value in Slovenia. The analysis prepared in relation to the development of the settlement and categorized chronologically reveals that only those documents that were devised in cooperation with the local community had an impact on the development shifts. As the knowledge that desired success cannot be expected in the Slovenian practice without an operational link between researchers, planners and users is not put into practice, this knowledge can also be understood as the basic reason for the situation.

COBISS.SI-ID: 15594502The thesis researches the so-called »earthquake architecture« which can be understood as an architectural reflection of earthquake engineering. It includes a wide range of overlaps of architecture and earthquake engineering, where the concept of a building structure can be a result of an analysis of seismic effectiveness and an analysis of transmission of earthquake forces. It proposes a definition of seismo-logical architecture based solely on architectural viewpoint. It also proposes a method for evaluation of earthquake architecture with the aid of structural and architectural parameters.

From the aspect of an architecture and engineering the understanding of erecting such structures is vital for understanding any other stone structure. Nevertheless pyramids are the final results derived from square combined with the circle. To reach valuable research results the measurement of royal cubit should was taken as module unit. The second aim is awareness that 4400 years ago the climate was different as it is today. The pyramids were very probably part of green bank of river Nile.
