Vernakularna arhitektura Slovenije je program petih delov, ki pokrivajo vso Slovenijo. Knjiga 2 je druga v vrsti in pokriva Severovzhod. Gre za preprosto arhitekturo nešolanih ljudi, ki so svoje znanje dobili z dediščino. Niso poznali velikih arhitektur: zato je vsak objekt izumljen posebej za vsak primer znova. Knjiga ima 185 strani, teče vzporedno v slovenščini in v angleščini, ima nekaj sto fotografij, okrog sto skic in shem. Uvodni, teoretski del je 'Glina'. Dodani so Indeks, Slovarček izrazov in bibliografija.

In the paper a simplified nonlinear method has been applied to the analysis of base-isolated structures. In the first part, a three-linear idealization of the capacity curve is proposed. In the second part it was used for the analysis of RC frame buildings isolated with (lead) rubber bearings. The stiffness of the isolators was selected for three different superstructure performance levels: elastic, moderately and fully damaged. It was concluded that the N2 method can provide a reasonably accurate prediction of the actual displacements, as well as of the expected damage to the superstructure.

The beehive in its practical shape is Slovene innovation, made by Anton Janša. The complex of the hives enables to build the hut. It is developed with the open part, covered by one third of the roof, and the body (two thirds), used by the bees and the beekeeper himself. All the hut is catch into the cube. The most typical for Slovene beehive hut are the painted covers of the hives, with current information as well as clergical and human contents, all the artistical talent of Slovene people. The book contains 128 pages, with theoretical part, some hundreds of photos and sketces, schemes.

The paper deals with the applicability of the extended N2 method to base-isolated mass-eccentric RC frame building isolated with lead rubber bearings. The results are presented in terms of displacements and amplification factors of the isolation system and of the superstructure. The results of the extended N2 method are compared with the average results of nonlinear dynamic analyses. It was concluded that the extended N2 method could provide a reasonable prediction of the torsional influences in minor to moderately asymmetric base-isolated structures.

The aim of the research is to discover the hidden course of ancient interior city walls of Koper. The existence of the hypothetic walls is proven by the research of seven chapels above each town gate in Koper and one in Piran.
