The primary purpose of the project was to develop, implement and test (evaluate) a new model of cooperation between public organization (housing fund JSS MOL) and non-governmental ( Society Kings of the Street ), in which the two institutions jointly agree on the allocation of housing units to residentially excluded people, with KU ensure the necessary psychosocial support to persons who would receive the housing units. The project should develop new skills, experiences and practices of housing support, while a new model of cooperation that would expand the activities of the housing fund, thereby opening new possibilities for accommodation for the homeless. The emphasis shoud on providing permanent accommodation and would in principle represent a permanent solution to homelessness . Outermost or indirect goal was the expansion of such a model to other Slovenian cities and encourage the housing sector at the national level to be more active in developing housing policy (or policies on homelessness ). Effects of the project on the national level should be achieved by the final national conference at which the results of the project were disseminated (features of the new operating model).

COBISS.SI-ID: 266823168The study of the Slovenian school system was upgraded to a comparative analysis of the performance of certain elements of the educational system in Macedonia, which – in the structure of the school system followed the solutions that we have introduced in Slovenia on the basis of education legislation already in the past decade. Nevertheless students from Macedonia show in international research much worse results in comparison with Slovenia. Knowledge that we have gained by such a comparison will be a good basis for further engagement in the search for high-quality solutions for the education system in Slovenia.

COBISS.SI-ID: 94148874The book presents a part of the results of a research project on the social and economic consequences of expanded and differentiated higher education systems. The research audience was informed about this project with an extensive monograph published in Peter Lang Publishers, while this book was prepared for a wider audience. Attention was paid to the analysis of reform and development trends in higher education in Slovenia and the countries of the Western Balkans and in this context, particularly changes in the roles and university management, institutional differentiation and fragmentation, the emergence of private institutions, the process of internationalization and the role of students. The analysis was based on a review of relevant documents and literature as well as in the original study, covering 78 interviews and a survey of over 2000 respondents from 16 universities (two from each country of the region). The work will be useful both for officers of higher education institutions and policy makers from the region and beyond.

COBISS.SI-ID: 267603456A model of the process of psychosocial support activities involving creative expression based on movement and drama, and role playing focused on Greek archetypes was developed. Individuals with various psychosocial problems in the field of mental health took part in a practical implementation of this model. The therapeutic method involved the techniques of exploring arche¬types espoused by therapist Leah Bartal, and Jacob Moreno's psy¬chodrama. The article presents the theoretical basis of and practical adjustments to the structure of workshops centred on archetypes as advocated by Bartal. Our aim was to provide group members with the means to explore the universality Greek archetypes in order to promote change and personal growth. The activitiy implemented in the process was evaluated as an appropriate form of psychosocial support for the participants.

COBISS.SI-ID: 9920841Despite the fact that they thinking, learning and communicating are the most common and present modalities of human phenomenological world, their structure (and in general phenomenology) is poorly known. In addition to the poor definition of the phenomenon, the problem is the lack of useful research methods. The aim of the work was the development, implementation and action-evaluation of a new technique of capturing phenomenological data, based upon a modified method of descriptive experience sampling (DES). Quantitative derivate of this method (sampling experience or "experience sampling") has become an indispensable part of modern research in the field of cognitive science. An iOS application to capture highly ecologically valuable phenomenological data was developed. The application allows adaptations of the so-called "research plans" for exploring any experiential modality, which makes it useful for a wide range of phenomenological research.
