Prof. Prašnikar is a president of PKP programme board, which serves as a communication platform for academic and business community members and deals with important economic and social issues. Research group gives special attention to selected research topic and its relevance for Slovenian enterprises. Papers published in established international journals were presented at the conference in their initial phase. Round tables host established practitioners from domestic and foreign firms, academics, and politicians. 600-800 participants come to the conference mainly from CEE.

Ljubica Knežević Cvelbar is a member of editorial board of IJEFM, which is double-blind peer-reviewed journal seeks to advance knowledge in the field of events. Irena Ograjenšek is the chair of the Organizing Committee and member of the Programme Committee of the 12th Annual Conference of the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics (ENBIS) that took place at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, in the period September 9th – 13th, 2012. The conference brought together researchers in the area of continuous product and process quality monitoring as well as those applying modern methodological approaches (such as e.g. netnographic research) to continuously monitor employee and customer satisfaction, product and company image changes, etc. 250 participants came from all over the globe. Prof. Domadenik was a scientific committee member of a “Network for the Development of Higher Education Management Systems” (DEHEMS) conference with the topic “Employability of Graduates & Higher Education Management Systems”. The second conference of the international research consortium explored which factors determine a graduate’s early career success, and how higher education management systems take employability data and surveys into account, and how much are and should be evidence-driven. The conference members were international and national researchers and professors and government officials.
