D.01 Chairing over/coordinating (international and national) projects
COBISS.SI-ID: 252275712The aim of this research was to establish whether there is a correlation between sport activity and drug-taking among 680 14-year-old pupils and establish if the drug-sport link depends on type of sport. We can conclude that persistent sport inactivity in adolescence may increase the risk of problems due to alcohol use among male, and smoking among female pupils. Participation in organized sports, as opposed to unorganized and competitive sports, may reduce illicit drug use.
