The book presents a thorough overwiev of numerous areas of EU's activity and as such fills in the gap between informative and scientific books on the EU in the Slovenian-language area. the book entails a theoretically informed historical overwiev of European integration. It is followed by over 80 contributions, which present and analyse institutions, policies, relations and processes as well as concepts related to the EU, each including elements specifically relevant for Slovenia.
