The first part of the text deals with the limitations of scientific interpretation of nature. Second part is discussing the role of nature in urban space. The text tries to give answer to the question is discussion on nature in urban space possible at all, not to be antiurban at the same time.

The article deals withmultidisciplinary interests and social science articles related to urban and rural issues in two non-social science databases. We find that the social science related content of Slovenian authors in the field of agriculture and biotechnology are growingin analyzed period. Particularly prominently addressed are environmental and spatial issues and in some degree the content associated with the processes of globalization.We also established that the social contents are not uniformly indexed, making information retrieval of them ever more it difficult.

The monograph focuses on understanding of the lomographic (sub)culture. Main goal of the book is answer to the question what do lomographers do within their alternative practices. The author is transcending over-descriptive method in urban subcultures studies, but places the lomo subculture in the broader theoretical and conceptual framework. Lomography is an interesting subculture, because it shows the key movements within the urban and cyber subcultures.
