In this lecture we presented main findings of our three international projects on the topic of simulating weiglessness. we presented human adaptation models and guidances for combating negative life style adaptation.

COBISS.SI-ID: 1710291Main objectives of the research project are: knowledge for sustainable quality of living; determination of the criteria for healthy ageing; reduction of health risks and development of independence and competences; promotion, education and interevtions for target elderly groups; establishment of an international centre of excellence (SLOITA) in the field of health of the elderly; raising social integration and mobility of the elderly; reduction of health care costs.
D.01 Chairing over/coordinating (international and national) projects
We have accredited and initiated a new study programme of Applied kinesiology 1., 2., and 3. bologna cycle at the University of Primorska. The researchers of research programme formed the working group of both undergraduate and postgraduate study programmes. In 2010 we submitted also elaborate for new Faculty of ergonomics and kinesiology studies (UP FENIKS). In 2010/11 1. and 2. bologna cycle started with student matriculation, while 3. bologna cycle initiated in 2011/12, the same as new UP FENIKS.
D.02 Establishment of a research centre, laboratory, study course, association
COBISS.SI-ID: 1768659Multipurpose dynamometer was developed for muscle action assessment. It enables measurement of maximal muscle contraction, maximal explosive attempts and functional actions. Balance could be also evaluated. It is unique system that enables measurement of maximal explosive strength in elderly population and all populations where balance is deteriorated.
