In the monograph the analysis of collapse dolines morphology and the interpretation of processes lead to the understanding of dynamics and mechanisms of collapse dolines formation and transformation with various geomorphic processes were discussed. The study introduces the new models of processes in collapse dolines, which can be used for the interpretation of collapse dolines development in time context or for interpretation of mechanics and dynamics of specific geomorphologic processes.

This book is a document of time in the life of the two cities, and contains a transection of the recent research of Ljubljana and Belgrade at the two institutions involved. However, the situation and challenges of development of the cities are addressed in a complex geographical and spatial planning manner, from the aspects of physical-geographical factors of development, demographic characteristics and processes, daily urban systems, social urban geography, economic geography, etc.

In the paper is analized general climate and topoclimate condition for olive growing in Slovene Istria. In spite of the risk of periodic frosts, olive growing is an important and profitable economic activity. An analysis of topoclimatic conditions for olive tree has shown that, the capacities are sufficient at least to double the present-day olive groves. Spreading the area beyond the borders of the traditional one could be questionable despite the forecasted warming of climate, since the same prognoses also forecast a greater possibility of weather disasters, including frosts.

Slovenia ranks among the medium-developed EU countries in respect to its economic and social indicators, but its environmental pressures per capita exceed the planetary acceptable level. The environmental potentials of Slovenia render possible augmentations in welfare and increase in self sufficiencs as well as reductions in ecological footprint. Changes in the field of energy are crucial:it would be necessary to reduce energy consumption and increase the proportionate utilization of renewable energy resources, with appropriately full environmental responsibility.

The surface exposure dating method was introduced in the territory of Slovenia for the first time in the case of Veliki vrh rockfall. The method enables the absolute datation of geomorphic forms and processes. In the area of Veliki vrh rockfall the three sampling campaigns were conducted and the samples were processed at CEREGE Institute in France. The results supported the interpretation of the rockfall as well as the wider interpretation of surface development of the part of Karavanke Mountains.
