The Glossary of Slovenian Art after 1945 is a publication that sheds light on some of the key concepts, movements, groups and tendencies that established themselves in the last six decades and had an important influence on the history of Slovenian fine arts during that period, from socialist realism to NSK, graffiti, scenography and sound. 63 concise, yet informative entries provide basic information, present leading representatives and evaluate phenomena which are also explained by means of illustrations and accompanied by carefully selected literary sources for further reading and studying.
C.02 Editorial board of a national monograph
COBISS.SI-ID: 248143872Dr. Barbara Orel, a member of the group, was the selector of works for the competing and the accompanying programme of the most notable national performing arts festival, the Borštnik Theatre Festival. The works competed for the Borštnik awards, the most important form of recognition for those working in the field of performing arts, and included the best productions of the season. The accompanying programme (entitled “The Temptation of View”) dealt with issues of work and cooperation in contemporary performing arts. Dr. Blaž Lukan, a member of the programme group, presided over the jury.

COBISS.SI-ID: 2973787The topic of the lecture-performance was the role of the spectator in performance art of the group/performance project Via negativa, which has been in existence for seven years. The event consisted of a theoretical lecture and performing of parts of performances discussed in the lecture. The lecture and performance were given as part of the Performance Studies International Conference in the Shifts section at ZKM in Zagreb. The curator of the Theory in the Real Time and Space of Practice (Via Negativa Symposium) was Bojan Jablanovec.
B.04 Guest lecture
COBISS.SI-ID: 2972251Various conceptual processes regarding the making of contemporary works of art were presented at the exhibition showing works of 28 students of Academy of Fine Arts and Design. Studying at the Academy should provide opportunities for building a network for dynamic exchange of ideas and encourage defining of art as it is at present. The human form has been a recurring motif in art for thousands of years and was also used here as the platform on which media transformations of contemporaneity were shown. The exhibition was staged in association with Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst (Leipzig).

In 2009 they organized several successful expert meetings, round table discussions and symposiums (for example Art, Culture, Society at the Borštnik Theatre Festival in Maribor in 2009 and The Position of Slovenian Performing Arts in International Surroundings at the Week of Slovenian Drama in Kranj in 2009). President of the association is a member of the programme group Dr. Blaž Lukan.
