The aim of the integrated presentation concept of Heaters for Hot Feelings, the installation by sculptor Mirko Bratuša at the Pavilion of the Republic of Slovenia at the 54th Venice Biennial, one of the world’s most important visual arts exhibition, was that of expressing cultural identity in a recognizable manner. The innovative concept of the installation (featuring artificial, high-technology anthropomorphic and biomorphic bodies made of the archaic material - clay) metaphorically presented the nature of contemporary society - a network of intertwined social, economic and natural layers.
