Broadband 14N nuclear quadrupole resonance excitation

We present two novel approaches to the N-14 nuclear quadrupole resonance transition excitation: stochastic excitation and Carr-Purcel-like train excitation with frequency swept pulses. The advantages onf the novel methods are reduction of the necessary power of the excitation pulses and broadband excitation.

Magnetic field cycling and quadrupole resonance detection

Three types of magnetic field cycling are presented, for use in polarisation enehanced nuclear quadrupole resonance experiment, or for nuclear quadrupole double resonance experiment.
