We start with the basic directions of »the feminism and science« and feminist epistemology. We continue with the short introduction of feminist epistemology as a non-monolith group perspective and focus on the critiques of feminist epistemology. The reflections that are important for the transformations of some fundamental epistemological concepts (such as objectivity, truth) are also presented. They can be said to represent the struggle with the common sense – the struggle with the »facts« about women and the »facts« about science.

Feminist self-identification is thematized as a source of power, a possibility for participation in power relations and the production of knowledge. Feminist subjectivations are dealt with, together with situated perspectives and their influence on the cognitive dimensions of feminism. The author also considers the stress on the deconstruction of common sense and the determination of categories.
