We developed a 3D georeferenced relational database, containing geological structural data and other data from mine production areas. Structural interpretation map of the excavation area is implemented as a separate data layer. The application facilitates assessing the risk for spontaneous geodynamical events during coal excavation on the base of spatial analysis and by accounting for interactions of several factors.
F.15 Development of a new information system/databases
COBISS.SI-ID: 892510We developed a standardized methodology for documenting and validating of geological structural elements in mine works, which is adapted to specific mapping conditions in thick coal seams. We defined types of structures that are relevant, the methods of their in-situ determination, their geometrical characteristics, and their classification in standardized classes. We created a mapping form at 1:375 scale. The developed protocol facilitates routine acquisition of standardized structural data by the mine geological service.
