F.18 Transfer of new know-how to direct users (seminars, fora, conferences)
COBISS.SI-ID: 26340825The disease-free interval and overall survival in patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy after laparoscopic evaluation of peritoneal advanced ovarian cancer were compared to various residual disease after standard surgical treatment and adjuvant chemotherapy regimen. The preliminary results indicate that the disease-free interval is prolonged in the neoadjuvant subgroup.
F.22 Improvement to existing health/diagnostic methods/procedures
COBISS.SI-ID: 29252313Analysis of feasibility, safety and diagnostic value of laparoscopy in advanced ovarian cancer evaluation, especially for peritoneal cancer with a potential change in the treatment strategy towards neoadjuvant chemotherapy
F.21 Development of new health/diagnostic methods/procedures
COBISS.SI-ID: 28881625The impact of laparoscopy in treatment strategy planning for advanced ovarian cancer is to some extent confirmed. Its value towards optimal cytoreductivity evaluation remains to be confirmed, but it can well distinguish the peritoneal form of the disease, enabling early start of neoadjuvant chemotherapy
