Presented are the results of warming the saplings in water bath for 5 and 10 hours at the temperatures 36°C, 40°C and 44°C and the results, that the pathogen at some combinations time-temperature dies and the saplings survive. The fungicides differ considerably in their efficiency against the fungus Chalara fraxinea, the most effective are karbendazim, chlorotalonil and prochloraz.
