Results of new product development (NPD) in Slovenian companies is presented. Internal and external sources for information in NPD are studied. Importance and frequency of use of different sources are presented. Results are presented for different types of organisations, such as: followers, specialists, competitors and leaders.Among external sources of data used in NPD Slovenian organisations depend on supplier’s information.
