On the basis of the well-attended international scientific conference "(Re)Integration and Development Issues in Multicultural and Border Regions" that the leader of the project group and his collaborators organized in September 2011 in Portoroz (Slovenia), the well-known international Publisher Cambridge Scholars asked us to publish with them a selection of peer-reviewed papers. The monograph, co-edited by Milan Bufon, Julian Minghi and Anssi Paasi will be printed in the first half of 2014.

COBISS.SI-ID: 253328896The members of the project team, Anton Gosar and Stanko Pelc, have been elected, in the period of their participation in the project team, Chairs respectively of the Commission of Political Geography and the Commission for Marginal Aereas of the International Geographical Union. These nominations reveal the high degree of the involvement of the project team members in the international scientific community.
