We have co-organized an international meeting on meshless methods and co-chaired the programme committee. The selected papers from the conference will be published in a monograph by Tech Science Press, USA and in special issues of international journals.

COBISS.SI-ID: 2534395Our multiscale and multiphysics simulations, based on meshless methods, are attracting great attention in international science community due to simplicity and applicability in realistic technical problems. Respectively, the number of citations of our work in this area has in the last years reached around 100 per year. We have been in 2012 invited to (1) University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in Chengdu, (2) Taiyuan University of Technology and (3) City University of Hong Kong, China to present our related advances in the field.

COBISS.SI-ID: 2632443We have presented the solution of the problem of natural convection in three dimensions by the local radial basis function collocation method, structured on seven-noded subdomains and multiquadric RBF's. We have used explicit time-stepping. We have treated problems with Prandtl number 0.71 and Raileigh number up to 10**8. An extended version of the paper, together with comparisons with the reference results, will be published in the CMES journal.
