In men undergoing the testicular cancer treatment the indicators of fertility (FSH and testosterone levels, spermiogram, sperm DNA fragmentation) are abnormal and they indicate the causes of problems these men have with conception. Men with hypogonadism are at risk for the development of testicular cancer requiring attentive management. Cryptorchidism should be corrected as early in childhood as possible. All men after testicular cancer treatment should undergo the examination for the presence of hypogonadism; testicular cancer treatment, chemotherapy in particular, does not further deteriorate sperm DNA fragmentation, therefore there is no need for postponement of pregnancy if the original DNA fragmentation was normal.
