Wood from objects of cultural heritage as a material source of past events. Specialized workshop co-organized by the University for natural resources and life sciences BOKU, Vienna and the open air museum in Stübing, Austria, hosted an interdisciplinary group of specialists from 12 countries, dealing with wood as material source of information on past events. They presented problems and great potential of wood for interdisciplinary surveys in various environments, including in Slovenia. The group agreed on future activities for more systematical interdisciplinary and international co-operation.
