The effect of the firing temperature of DuPont 951 LTCC material on some mechanical properties was studied. The nominal firing temperature for this LTCC material is 875 °C. The increase in the elastic moduli of the samples fired between 800 °C and 850 °C from 100 GPa to 122 GPa and in characteristic biaxial strengths from140 MPa and 224 MPa was measured. The samples fired between 875 °C and 1000 °C exhibited higher values of the strength, ranging between 283 MPa and 335 MPa and lower flexural strength.

COBISS.SI-ID: 26846247In the paper the investigation of two thick-film resistor materials for application in piezoresistive pressure sensor were presented. Resistors are terminated with low-cost silver based thick film conductive materials. The characteristic of thick-film resistors on LTCC and alumina substrates were evaluated.

COBISS.SI-ID: 26848039Many investigators reported on investigations of the characteristics of experimental (“home made”) lead-free thick-film resistor materials. However, at least to the authors’ knowledge, there are no articles on testing commercial lead free resistors. In the paper the results of commercial thick-film lead-free resistors with nominal sheet resistivities 10 kohm/sq. were reported. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis was used to determine the conductive phase and electrical characteristics were measured.
