A system for on-line oil analysis was developed. The system has the ability to monitor multiple oil properties of interest and detect changes in the same. From these changes, diagnosis of oil degradation and mechanical failure is possible through integrated assessment of oil properties in time. Moreover, this system can operate as a standalone unit, with exclusive user interface, or as a part of a complete diagnostic system, merging oil condition evaluation with other condition monitoring techniques. System for On-line Oil Analysis, or SOOA, is able to follow deviations of healthy behavior from monitored mechanical units. In the end, it provides the operators with the information of each signal status ("Good", "Warning" and "Critical") and final inference on lubricant/component condition. A demonstration of results in laboratorial environment is included.

COBISS.SI-ID: 26098471Rapid implementation is essential for efficient commissioning of diagnostic systems. An environment is developed for design and implementation of the diagnostic algorithms , which is aimed to significantly reduce time and costs of the diagnostic system design cycle. This is done by performing the entire analysis and synthesis of the feature extraction algorithms in Simulink. A specially designed software tool is used for converting and transferring the Simulink scheme into the code for the target processor, hence enabling seamless remote configuration of the signal processing algorithms.
F.08 Development and manufacture of a prototype
COBISS.SI-ID: 25932071The first prototype of a platform for PHM builds on distributed sensor network. Several sensors are connected to the so-called smart node which performs data acquisition within the prescribed acquisition sessions, does feature extraction and transmit the results to the central server. Various communication protocols are supported.
