The bloody carnival 1511

This work, with the full title "The bloody carnival 1511: peasant rebellions and noble faidas in Friuli between the 15th and 16th centuries" is a translation from the Italian original, that addresses the great uprising in Friuli within the context of economic and social change, social conflicts and networks, and the values of the peasant population. The work introduces new interpretations into the Slovenian historiography, and is completed by a number of editor's terminological clarifications, as well as a foreword in whinch, among other, this uprising is put in relation with the peasant rebellions in the Slovenian lands.
