Adipose-derived Stem cells for Tissue Regeneration

Mirjam Frohlich gave an invited lecture at the 3rd Annual Meeting of World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (WAOCS) in Vienna, Austria. She presented the potential of the use of cells derived from adipose tissue for the purposes of soft tissue regeneration. Among other things, she presented results from her studies, focusing on endothelial cells derived from adipose tissue for the vascularization purposes. At the conference she made contacts and initiated collaborations with partners for the development of new clinical product – cells from adipose tissue with a strong vascular potential. The active R&D collaboration with the well known cosmetic surgeon dr. Peter Lisborg (PRIVATKLINIK LISBORG & PARTNER, Klagenfurt, Austria) is already ongoing.
