Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 stipulates that the claims can be used on foods with beneficial nutritional content. This reduces the risks which would arise from possible changes in the consumers' eating habits. Unfortunately, such nutrition profiles have not been accepted yet, nor is it known when they could be expected. This short scientific communication deals with the potential consequences if such measures for the use of claims on the foods with regards to sodium, i.e. salt, were not passed. It also proposes the solutions on how to reduce public health risk. Objavljeno v British Journal
