The leader of the program Prof Dr Mitja Košnik was a mentor of PhD thesis of Mihaela Zidarn. She successfully finished her doctoral thesis in 2014. OBJECTIVES: 1) We evaluated the humoral and cellular mechanisms that may be associated with the presence of allergic rhinitis symptoms. 2) The involvement of in vitro basophil allergen specific response was investigated with the induction of tolerance after discontinuation of grass pollen immunotherapy.
