During 2011-2014 Rado Pišot led an international EU project that studied human adaptation on aging, physical inactivity, training, and selected pathologies (acute and chornic skeletal and muscular injuries). In the project framework we developed a mobile laboratory and conducted a study of training effect on young and older participants (with protein supplementation for quicker adaptation), conducted an international cohort study on 1000 participants, a study for optimizaing rehabilitation after extensive acute and chronic injuries and many other studies that are a bit less related to sport but are mostly related to quality of life.
